  • It's simple. Start by placing a fully refundable $100 deposit to reserve your spot in line. When your Pod is ready, you can either bring us a compatible Ram ProMaster or work with our team to source one. We'll schedule your installation at our Denver, Colorado headquarters, where the Pod is professionally installed in about an hour. Before you head out, we'll walk you through all of the Pod's features, answer any questions, and make sure you're comfortable using everything before you hit the road.

  • Unlike a traditional campervan conversion, the Hunker Pod isn't permanently attached to your vehicle. When you're ready for a newer compatible cargo van, the Pod can move into your next van instead of replacing your entire camper. It's a smarter long term investment that helps protect the value of your purchase.

  • No. The Hunker Pod is sold separately from the vehicle. The $32,995 price is for the fully removable camper system only. This gives you the flexibility to bring your own compatible Ram ProMaster or purchase one separately, often saving thousands compared to a traditional campervan conversion.

  • No, but you can if you'd like. You can either bring your own compatible Ram ProMaster or work with our team to source one. Whether you already own a van or are purchasing one for the first time, we'll help guide you through the process and make sure you end up with the right vehicle.

  • The Pod is designed specifically for the Ram ProMaster 159" wheelbase, model years 2014 to present. Ram has kept the ProMaster's interior dimensions remarkably consistent over the years, so the fit holds across different roof heights and configurations with built-in give. If Ram updates the platform down the road, we'll be the first to let you know and will work to keep compatibility options available.

  • All installs are currently handled by the Hunker team out of Denver, CO. That said, The Pod is designed to be straightforward enough that a full self-install guide will be available for those who prefer the hands-on route. We're also actively building out a network of certified installers across the country, so more locations are on the way.

  • Installation typically takes one hour and is completed by a member of the Hunker team. If you've requested additional upgrades, such as windows, roof ventilation, or other vehicle modifications, installation may take longer depending on the scope of work.

  • The Hunker Pod is designed to be installed without any structural modifications to the OEM chassis. The core installation does not require cutting, drilling, or permanently altering the vehicle itself. However, many owners choose to add upgrades, such as a roof vent, shore power inlet, or heating system, which do require modifications to the van. These optional upgrades are separate from the Hunker Pod installation and are based on your preferences.

  • The Pod slides into the van using retractable legs and bolts directly into the Ram ProMaster's factory mounting points. No drilling, cutting, or permanent modifications are required, making the installation both secure and fully reversible.

  • Very easy. The Hunker Pod is designed for quick, clean removal with no permanent modifications to your van. A member of the Hunker team can typically remove the system in about an hour, returning your cargo van to its original configuration.

  • Yes, for an upgrade the van comes with Thinsulate insulation, the same material found in high-performance outdoor gear, keeping things comfortable without adding bulk.

  • The Hunker Pod weighs just over 1,000 pounds, well within the payload capacity of a compatible Ram ProMaster.

  • Yes. The Hunker Pod is designed to be adaptable, and many owners choose to add features over time, such as a heater, roof ventilation, shore power, or air conditioning. It is your Pod, so you're free to customize it to fit your needs. However, please note that modifications made after delivery are not covered under Hunker's warranty.
